I had the surprise of a lifetime to end off cria season 2022. After an assisted delivery on the farm Leasha shares her “criations ” twin girls! These tiny but mighty little shield maidens are thriving. I’m so glad to welcome Lagertha and Torvi to the herd!

Altra Nova’s Rhys

Altra Nova Alpacas is a small farm just outside of Hague, SK. I raise my small herd of alpacas together with my sister and her family (Dreamin' Alpacas). I purchased my first alpacas in 2012 after falling in love with my sister's animals. Thanks to all of my awesome alpaca peeps I've learned a lot and my little herd has improved by leaps and bounds.

All of my animals are registered through CLAA (Canadian Alpaca Llama Association) and AOA (Alpaca Owners Association).

I enjoy attending shows and seeing all of the amazing fiber that everyone is producing.
