Snowmass Conopa was our best candidate to name and dedicate to their efforts as he represents all our effort to preserve the fineness of the vicuna as we advance overall fiber quality and color consistency over the entire body of the alpaca. He is a true testament to the advanced alpaca and his first cria on the ground have all been at the top of their class and showing the very same traits of advanced fleece in color production. Snowmass Conopa, even at 4 yrs old remains to have a high curve 58.7, and high frequency of tight merino vicuna crimp with extreme density forming tight clusters of uniformly crimped fibers. Excellent brightness and extreme consistency of fiber character over the entire blanket extending into the extremities.
